Deborah Etheridge, Delta Gamma

 

 

deborah etheridge   Debbie is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and an initiate of the Alpha Psi Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity at Ole Miss.  After graduation, Debbie and her family (husband, Clay, and daughter, Semmes) made a series of moves including overseas assignments to Singapore and Jakarta, Indonesia. 

In 1999, Debbie attended her first Delta Gamma Founders Day in Houston and accepted an offer to ‘help’ the Delta Gamma chapter at the University of Houston.  What began as a simple, "yes," in 1999, has led to many rewarding years of Delta Gamma service and friendships.

Debbie has served as Alumnae Chapter President, Advisory Team Chairman, Chapter Operations Advisor, House Corporation, Regional Collegiate Specialist, Region Director, and two terms on the Delta Gamma Fraternity Council as Vice President:  Collegians. 

Since ‘retirement’ from Council, Debbie continues to say, "yes".  She served as the Chairman of the Fraternity Structure Task Force and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Delta Gamma Foundation Governance Committee.

Debbie became active in Houston Alumnae Panhellenic Association (HAPA) in 2015-2016, serving as Courtesy Chairman.  She has followed that with service as Treasurer in 2016-2017 and First Vice President in 2017-2018.  She also served as a Trustee on the Foundation Board in 2017-2018.
