Kappa Pilgrimage Luncheon
Honoring
Sue Rayburn Brennig
Speaker
Jane Scott Hodges
November 15, 2017
11:00 am
The Briar Club
2603 Timmons Lane
Houston, TX 77024
We
hope you will be able to join us as we honor Sue Rayburn
Brennig for her years of devoted service to Kappa Kappa
Gamma. Locally, she has served our Alumnae
Association Mother's Club and Charitable Foundation and
was honored with the Loyalty Award in 1993.
Nationally, she has served as a member of the
Development Committee for the KKG Foundation and
internationally, she had the office of Treasurer of the
Alumnae Association in London.
In addition to all of her Kappa duties, she served as
President of both the Houston Alumnae Panhellenic
Association and the Houston Alumnae Panhellenic
Foundation where she was honored with the Citation
Member Award and continues as an Honorary Board Member
Emeritus.
Who better exemplifies our luncheon's theme, "Kappas
sharing Kindness and Generosity in the Community?"
Sue is a proud member of the Kappa Mothers' Club, with
daughter, Aimee Dodson, Texas Tech Kappa alumna, and
granddaughter, Bailey Dodson, member at her alma mater,
LSU.
She is the consummate hostess having entertained so many
of us in her home throughout the years. We thank
Sue and are overjoyed to highlight her this year as our
Honoree for her years of generous service to Kappa for
which we are most grateful. We certainly
hope you can be here to celebrate with us
We are also very excited to have a renowned Kappa, Jane
Scott Hodges, Tulane, as our featured speaker. She
was the President of the New Orleans Alumnae Association
last year and was an Alumnae Award recipient at the 2016
Kappa Convention in San Diego. She is the proud
mother of a Kappa at TCU.
Jane Scott is the owner and founder of Leontine Linens
in New Orleans and a driving force behind the modern
revival of couture linens for everyday enjoyment.
She is an engaging speaker and is the author of
Linens: For Every Room and Occasion.
You will have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy
of her book at the luncheon.
