A number of Houston-area young women will receive scholarships at a presentation which will be the highlight of the Annual HAPF Scholarship Luncheon on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Last year $41,000 in scholarships was awarded to 21 Harris County women who are attending universities all across the country. The 26th Annual Luncheon will honor the 2012 collegiate scholarship winners. The luncheon will be held at the Junior League of Houston, 1811 Briar Oaks.

The luncheon program will feature a fashion show presented by the Cypress/Woodlands Junior Forum. The theme of the style show is Petticoats and Parasols.
The style show will feature fashions from past to present, an entertaining and unique show. You will laugh, learn, and remember!
Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Reservation Chairman. The ticket price is $50 and includes lunch, the style show, and a tax-deductible contribution to the Houston Alumnae Panhellenic Foundation.
Door prize tickets are also available for $1 each. 100% of the money raised through the sale of door prize tickets provides direct scholarship aid. Prizes have included; airline tickets, weekend getaways, gift certificates to expensive restaurants and high-end stores, crystal, and much more.
The HAPF Scholarship Luncheon will welcome Ms. Lisa Schwartz, Kappa Alpha Theta, President-Elect, as she accepts the gavel as the new HAPA President for 2012-2013. The Foundation Officers and Trustees are also announced during a short presentation. The event will truly be a day for celebration and sisterhood for Houston Greek women.
